Speaker Headshots Bay Area — Conference & Keynote Photography
You just got confirmed as a speaker. Congratulations. Now the conference organizer is asking for your headshot — high resolution, professional, suitable for the conference program, the event website, the speaker announcement on LinkedIn, and the slide that goes up on the main stage screen when you walk out.
Your current headshot is from 2018. Or it's a cropped photo from a wedding. Or it's technically fine but it doesn't reflect who you are as a professional in 2026 or the stage you're being given.
You have a deadline. This is not the moment for a three-week turnaround.
At Camerawerkz, we photograph Bay Area conference speakers, keynote presenters, panel participants, workshop leaders, and thought leaders who need a professional headshot ready for a conference program deadline. Fast turnaround, fully directed sessions, and results that hold up on a main stage screen at 40 feet wide.
The Bay Area Conference Circuit
The Bay Area hosts more major professional conferences than any other region in the country. Dreamforce at Moscone Center. TechCrunch Disrupt. RSA Conference. Oracle CloudWorld. Salesforce events. AWS re:Invent satellite events. SXSW SW. Gartner summits. Industry events at the San Jose Convention Center, the Oakland Convention Center, and venues throughout the region.
Every one of those conferences has speakers. Every speaker needs a headshot. And most of them need it faster than they planned.
We photograph Bay Area speakers year-round — with particular demand during Dreamforce season in the fall, RSA season in the spring, and the constant calendar of tech, healthcare, legal, and financial services conferences that run throughout the year.

What Conference Speaker Headshots Need
Speaking at a conference is a high-visibility professional moment. The headshot that appears in the conference program, on the event website, in the speaker announcement social posts, and on the main stage slide is being seen by every attendee, every livestream viewer, and everyone who engages with conference content before and after the event.
That photo needs to do specific things:
Hold up at scale. Conference programs and stage screens display headshots at sizes that expose every quality issue — compression artifacts, soft focus, poor lighting. A phone photo that looks acceptable as a LinkedIn thumbnail falls apart at 40 feet wide on a main stage display. We shoot in a way that holds up at any size.
Look current. Conference organizers and attendees are making a judgment about you as a speaker based on your headshot before you say a word. A photo that's clearly outdated — different hair, different weight, clearly from a different era of your career — creates an immediate disconnect. Current is credible.
Match your topic and audience. A speaker at a healthcare conference needs a different visual register than a speaker at a startup pitch competition. A keynote at a legal industry event has different visual expectations than a keynote at a creative conference. We calibrate the lighting, expression, and framing to match the professional context of your speaking engagement.
Be ready fast. Conference program deadlines are real and they don't move. If the deadline is Friday, you need finals by Thursday at the latest. We deliver.

The Session
Speaker headshot sessions run 30 to 45 minutes at our Jack London Square studio in Oakland. Every shot is fully directed, posture, expression, chin angle, framing specifically calibrated for how speaker headshots are displayed and used. You see your shots on a monitor throughout the session.
We cover two to three looks per session, different expressions, a couple of backdrop options, giving you genuine choices rather than one image you have to live with. Conference programs often want a more formal look. Your own website or LinkedIn might want something warmer. We get both in one session.
Proofing gallery delivered within 24 hours, often the same evening. Final edited images delivered within 24 to 48 hours for standard requests. Same day or next day finals available for urgent conference deadlines, call us and we'll make it work.
Images delivered in every format and resolution conference organizers request, high-resolution TIFF or PNG for print production, web-optimized JPEG for digital use, square crop for social media, horizontal crop for website banners.
Speaker Headshots for Conference Organizers
If you're organizing a Bay Area conference and need consistent headshots across your speaker lineup — we offer coordinated speaker headshot sessions that can be built into your conference schedule.
We set up a portable studio at your venue — in a green room, a breakout room, or any available space — and photograph speakers one at a time as they arrive or during breaks. Every speaker photographed to the same standard. Consistent results across your entire lineup for the conference website, program, and promotional materials.
This is particularly valuable for conferences where speakers are coming from out of town and don't have access to a professional photographer in their home city. You give them a great headshot experience as part of the speaker package. They leave with a professional photo they'll use for years and associate with your event.
