Marketing Agency Headshots Bay Area
Creative Team Photography
Marketing agencies know better than anyone what professional photography does for a brand. You spend your days telling clients to invest in their visual identity, to show up consistently across every platform, to make sure every customer touchpoint reflects the quality of their work.
Then your own team page has headshots taken at three different times, by three different photographers, in three different lighting setups — and your newest hire's photo is a LinkedIn crop from 2022.
It's the cobbler's children problem. The agency that produces exceptional creative work for clients sometimes has the least consistent visual presence of anyone in the building.
At Camerawerkz, we photograph Bay Area marketing agencies, creative studios, PR firms, branding agencies, and advertising shops — producing consistent, professional headshots across your entire creative team in a single coordinated shoot. The same standard you'd demand for a client, applied to your own organization.

Why Agency Team Headshots Are Different
Marketing and creative agencies have specific headshot needs that differ from law firms, healthcare organizations, or tech companies — and understanding those differences is part of what makes the session work.
Visual standards are higher. Your clients and prospects will scrutinize your team page more carefully than most. They're evaluating whether your agency has the visual sensibility to handle their brand. A team page that looks inconsistent or outdated is a credibility problem in a way it isn't for a plumbing company.
The team changes fast. Agencies hire frequently, lose people, bring on contractors, and grow in bursts. A headshot program that accommodates fast team growth — with a documented setup for new hires and a process for adding people without scheduling another full team day — is more valuable to an agency than a one-time shoot.
Culture matters in the photo. The right headshot for a boutique brand strategy firm is different from the right headshot for a performance marketing shop or a full-service creative agency. The lighting, the expression, the framing — all of it should reflect the specific culture and positioning of your agency, not a generic corporate headshot standard.
Your headshots are a sales tool. When a prospect lands on your team page before a pitch meeting, your headshots are doing selling. They communicate that your team is real, credible, and worth taking a meeting with. A well-photographed team page closes prospects before the first conversation.
What We Photograph
Full creative team days Account managers, strategists, copywriters, designers, developers, media buyers, social media managers, and every other person whose face appears on your team page, your LinkedIn, your email signatures, and your pitch decks. Everyone photographed in a single session — same lighting, same backdrop, same quality standard across the entire agency.
Leadership and executive headshots Founders, managing directors, creative directors, and agency principals whose headshots appear in press features, speaking profiles, industry award submissions, and the kind of high-visibility contexts where a generic headshot is a missed opportunity. Individual sessions at our Oakland studio for agency leaders who need a headshot that reflects where they actually are in their careers.
New team member headshots The ongoing challenge for growing agencies. We document your setup after the initial team day and photograph new hires to match — individual sessions at our Jack London Square studio or at your office — so your team page stays consistent as you grow.
Agency new business materials Pitch decks, capabilities decks, RFP responses, and agency credentials documents all include team headshots. If your pitch materials are using headshots that don't reflect the current team — or that don't hold up when projected on a conference room screen — we can update them before your next pitch.
Google Reviews
"We had Sergio take headshots and a group shot of all of our staff for our upcoming website re-boot. He was an absolute pleasure to work with, everyone enjoyed his working manner. Couldn't recommend more highly!"
The Session
Team headshot days at your Bay Area agency run with a complete mobile studio set up in your conference room, creative space, or any open area within 45 to 60 minutes. Every team member cycles through one at a time — five to ten minutes each, fully directed. The workday keeps running around the shoot.
For agencies with a specific aesthetic or brand direction, we work from visual references in advance. If you want headshots that feel warmer, more editorial, or more approachable than a standard corporate headshot, we calibrate the session accordingly. The result should look like it belongs to your agency — not like a generic professional headshot that could belong to anyone.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many people can you photograph in a day?
It depends on the schedule and the day structure. A focused half-day covers 15 to 25 people. A full day covers 40 to 60 people. For larger organizations we schedule multi-day shoots or structure the day across multiple department blocks. We've photographed teams of 200+ in a single coordinated engagement. Tell us your team size and we'll build a schedule that works.
What do you need from us on the day?
A conference room, lobby, or open office space with enough depth to set up a backdrop, a power outlet, and access to the building. We handle everything else — equipment, setup, breakdown, and direction. No facilities coordination required beyond letting us in.
What should employees wear?
We send a brief guide after booking that covers this in detail. The short version: solid colors, business casual or whatever matches your company culture, no busy patterns or logos. We recommend employees bring one or two options and we'll pick the best one together.
How do you handle employees who miss the shoot?
After every team day we document our exact setup. Anyone who misses the shoot can come into our Oakland studio for a solo session and their headshot will match the rest of the team. We coordinate missed sessions as part of the post-shoot process.
Can you match headshots from a previous shoot?
If you have an existing set of team headshots with a specific backdrop color and lighting style, we'll do our best to match it. The closer the existing photos are to a studio-style setup, the easier the match. Bring us a sample and we'll tell you what's achievable.
How far in advance should we book?
Two to four weeks in advance is typical for most team sizes. For larger organizations or specific date requirements, four to six weeks is safer. Rush bookings for smaller teams are often possible with less notice — reach out and we'll tell you what's available.
