Onsite Headshots Bay Area — We Bring the Studio to You
The simplest version of a team headshot day is this: we show up at your office with a complete professional studio, set it up in your conference room or lobby, photograph your entire team one at a time, pack up, and leave. Nobody commutes. Nobody loses half a day. The photos look like they were taken in a high-end studio because the equipment is identical to what we use at our Jack London Square studio in Oakland.
That's what onsite headshots are. And it's how Camerawerkz photographs the majority of Bay Area teams.

What We Bring to Your Office
A Camerawerkz onsite headshot setup is not a portable ring light and a phone camera. It is a complete professional mobile studio — the same equipment we use at our Oakland studio, broken down and rebuilt in your space within 45 to 60 minutes of arrival.
Professional strobe lighting
Studio-quality strobe lighting configured for consistent, flattering results on every person — regardless of skin tone, age, or how much someone dislikes having their photo taken. The same lighting that produces our studio work, rebuilt in your conference room.
Multiple backdrop options
We bring a selection of backdrops to every onsite shoot — neutral grays, whites, and darker tones. If your organization has a specific background preference or brand color requirement, let us know during planning.
Tethered camera and laptop
Our camera is tethered to a laptop on set so employees can see their shots in real time as the session progresses. This eliminates the anxiety of not knowing how the photos are coming out and helps employees relax and engage with the process.
Complete direction on every shot
We direct every single shot. Posture, expression, chin angle, shoulder position, framing. Employees don't need to know how to pose — that's entirely our job. The camera-shy people on your team consistently walk out with their best professional photo because they didn't have to figure anything out on their own.
What We Need From You
Very little.
A room with depth
A conference room, lobby, or open office area with roughly 12 to 15 feet of depth from the backdrop to the far wall. Tighter spaces can work — send us photos and we'll tell you what's achievable.
A power outlet
Standard wall outlet. That's it. No special electrical requirements, no facilities coordination, no IT support.
Access to the building
Visitor parking or a loading area for equipment, and access to the space. We handle everything else.
Google Reviews
"We had Sergio take headshots and a group shot of all of our staff for our upcoming website re-boot. He was an absolute pleasure to work with, everyone enjoyed his working manner. Couldn't recommend more highly!"
Who Onsite Headshots Are Right For
Companies that can't lose staff time to commuting
Billable professionals — attorneys, consultants, engineers, healthcare staff — can't spend half a day commuting to and from a studio. Onsite means five to ten minutes per person and straight back to their desk.
Large teams
Getting 30, 50, or 100 employees to an external studio on the same day is logistically impossible for most organizations. Onsite scales to any team size because we come to where your team already is.
Organizations that need visual consistency
A team photographed together in the same setup on the same day comes out looking consistent. That consistency is what makes a staff page look like a brand rather than a collage of mismatched individual photos.
Companies going through a rebrand or website refresh
Rebrands have deadlines. Onsite headshot days are the fastest way to get an entire team photographed and delivered before a launch date. We work backward from your timeline.
Hybrid teams with scheduled in-person days
For organizations where remote employees are only in the office on certain days, we time the shoot to coincide with your designated in-person week. Everyone gets photographed in a single coordinated visit without remote employees making a special trip.
Nonprofits, government agencies, and public sector organizations
Staff time and travel budgets are limited. Onsite eliminates both constraints — we come to you, your team stays put, and the shoot fits into the workday.
"My experience with Sergio was great! He was extremely professional, available, and communicative. He made me feel comfortable in the studio and turned around the photos quickly. I would recommend Sergio to anyone."
New Hires After the Onsite Shoot
After every onsite headshot day we document the exact lighting setup, backdrop configuration, and camera settings. New employees can come into our Oakland studio at any time for a matching solo session — their headshot will be indistinguishable from the rest of the team. Your website stays consistent as your organization grows.

How Onsite Headshot Days Run

Frequently Asked Questions
How many people can you photograph in a day?
It depends on the schedule and the day structure. A focused half-day covers 15 to 25 people. A full day covers 40 to 60 people. For larger organizations we schedule multi-day shoots or structure the day across multiple department blocks. We've photographed teams of 200+ in a single coordinated engagement. Tell us your team size and we'll build a schedule that works.
What do you need from us on the day?
A conference room, lobby, or open office space with enough depth to set up a backdrop, a power outlet, and access to the building. We handle everything else — equipment, setup, breakdown, and direction. No facilities coordination required beyond letting us in.
What should employees wear?
We send a brief guide after booking that covers this in detail. The short version: solid colors, business casual or whatever matches your company culture, no busy patterns or logos. We recommend employees bring one or two options and we'll pick the best one together.
How do you handle employees who miss the shoot?
After every team day we document our exact setup. Anyone who misses the shoot can come into our Oakland studio for a solo session and their headshot will match the rest of the team. We coordinate missed sessions as part of the post-shoot process.
Can you match headshots from a previous shoot?
If you have an existing set of team headshots with a specific backdrop color and lighting style, we'll do our best to match it. The closer the existing photos are to a studio-style setup, the easier the match. Bring us a sample and we'll tell you what's achievable.
How far in advance should we book?
Two to four weeks in advance is typical for most team sizes. For larger organizations or specific date requirements, four to six weeks is safer. Rush bookings for smaller teams are often possible with less notice — reach out and we'll tell you what's available.
