Professional Headshots for Bay Area Nonprofits
Your staff, leadership team, and board members represent your organization every time their photo appears online — on your website, in grant applications, in press coverage, on LinkedIn, and in annual reports.
A consistent, professional set of headshots tells donors, partners, and the communities you serve that your organization takes itself seriously.
At Camerawerkz, we work with nonprofits across the Bay Area for both individual staff sessions and full team headshot days. Based at Jack London Square in Oakland, we serve organizations throughout San Francisco, the East Bay, Silicon Valley, and the Peninsula — either at our private studio or by bringing a complete mobile studio directly to your office.
Onsite Nonprofit Headshots — We Come to You
For nonprofit teams, onsite headshot days are almost always the most practical option. Staff time is tight, budgets are managed carefully, and pulling an entire team across town for a photography session isn't realistic for most organizations.
Our mobile studio changes that. We bring professional lighting, studio-quality backdrops, and everything needed to produce polished, consistent headshots — set up in your conference room, lobby, or open office space within 45 to 60 minutes of arriving. Your team gets photographed one at a time, five to ten minutes per person, fully directed from start to finish.
The rest of the office keeps working.
We've photographed nonprofit teams throughout Oakland, San Francisco, Berkeley, Emeryville, and across the Bay Area. Whether your team is five people or fifty, an onsite headshot day gets everyone photographed in a single visit with zero commute and minimal disruption to the workday.
Solo Sessions for Nonprofit Leaders & Executive Directors
For executive directors, development directors, program managers, and board members who need an individual headshot, solo sessions at our Oakland studio are a focused, efficient option. Sessions run 30 to 45 minutes and are fully directed — no photography experience needed, no awkward posing, just clean professional results.
Solo sessions are a good fit for:
Executive directors and senior leadership updating their bios
Development staff preparing for fundraising campaigns or donor communications
Board members who need a current headshot for the organization website
Staff being featured in press coverage, grant reports, or speaking engagements
New hires joining an organization that already has a consistent headshot standard
Google Reviews
"We had Sergio take headshots and a group shot of all of our staff for our upcoming website re-boot. He was an absolute pleasure to work with, everyone enjoyed his working manner. Couldn't recommend more highly!"
Consistent Headshots Across Your Entire Organization
One of the most common challenges for nonprofits is ending up with a staff page full of mismatched photos — different backgrounds, different lighting, some professional and some clearly taken on a phone. It undermines the visual credibility of the organization even when the work behind it is exceptional.
A team headshot day at Camerawerkz solves that in a single session. Every person photographed comes out with the same lighting, the same backdrop, and the same standard of quality — whether it's your founding executive director or a program coordinator who started last month. The result is a staff page and a set of organizational materials that look cohesive, current, and professional.
"My experience with Sergio was great! He was extremely professional, available, and communicative. He made me feel comfortable in the studio and turned around the photos quickly. I would recommend Sergio to anyone."

Individual sessions are typically 10–15 minutes. Plan to arrive a few minutes early.
Do I need to do anything to prepare?

Check with your coordinator, but most sessions allow 1–2 outfit changes if time permits.

Unless specified in advance, plan to arrive ready. Some events do include a touch-up station.
