How do you photograph providers with unpredictable clinical schedules?
We build flexibility into the day's schedule from the start. We typically leave buffer slots between providers to absorb delays, and we are experienced at quickly reordering the schedule when a provider gets pulled into a procedure or a patient runs long. In our experience photographing healthcare teams, clinical schedule changes are the rule, not the exception — and we plan for them accordingly.
Should providers wear white coats or business attire?
It depends on the platform and your organization's brand standards. White coats work well for hospital provider directories and clinical profile pages — they immediately communicate physician identity. Business professional works better for private practice websites, Psychology Today listings, and LinkedIn. We recommend building time into the session for providers to shoot both looks, so they have options for different platforms.
