Mark Lane spent 25 years in the Foreign Exchange and Payments industry before doing what most people in that world only think about — he started his own company.

Mark Lane Inc. is built on a straightforward but industry-shifting idea: what if FX professionals actually owned their book of business? Not managed it. Owned it. The wealth management industry works this way. The insurance industry works this way. Mark Lane is bringing that model to FX and Payments, putting clients and employees first from day one.

When you launch a company that's asking an entire industry to think differently, first impressions matter. Alfred, CEO of Mark Lane Inc., came to our Jack London Square studio in Oakland to get that signal right from the start.

The session

Full studio lighting. Complete direction on posture, expression, and framing throughout. We work with founders and executives regularly — people who are accomplished and serious about what they're building but haven't necessarily spent a lot of time in front of a professional camera. That's what the direction is for. Every shot guided, nothing left to figure out on his own.

The session ran 30 to 45 minutes. Clean, efficient, and fully directed from start to finish.
