Give me the weird, peculiar, and unique any day! I'll always chase different.

Yesterday, I was sitting outside Whole Foods eating a quick dinner after shooting professional headshots for yet another big tech company in Santa Clara. That’s when a thought hit me,I felt like I was in The Truman Show.
Everything around me was just… perfect. The trees were manicured, the grass freshly mowed, and Tesla after Tesla pulled into the parking lot. Clean-cut tech professionals flowed in and out of Whole Foods with almost military precision. It felt safe, but also cookie-cutter, like no one dared to express themselves outside the tech-world box.
It reminded me a little of AI, where everything is a little too perfect. And honestly? I don’t want that.
From a photography perspective, I’m grateful that here in the Bay Area, we still have people who choose to show up as their true, unique selves. I want the different. The wild. The “I don’t really get it, but you keep doing you” personalities. Those are the people who bring character to the city—and those are the people I want in front of my camera.
So if you’re someone who isn’t afraid to stand out, keep showing up. I’ll keep capturing you.
